About
When you start the search, finding the perfect translator for you can sometimes seem tricky.
You want a professional who’s experienced, knowledgeable and highly capable.
But they also need to be friendly and approachable.
You’ve come to the right place.
I’m Claire Ruaro, and I can provide you with translations that your English-speaking audience will really connect with. I love what I do, and that shines through in every email I send, and every translation I complete.

Getting to know me
I live and translate in the UK, and am lucky enough to be based in the stunning UNESCO World Heritage City of Bath.
I’ve been working as a translator since 2013, when I spent some time working in-house in both Finland and the UK.
I went freelance in 2014 and have been building lasting relationships with clients ever since.
My translation work for clients is my number one priority, but I also take Continuous Professional Development (CPD) very seriously, attending conferences and taking specialist courses, both online and in person.
Away from my laptop, I have all kinds of interests keeping me busy.
You might find me knitting, exploring the lush Somerset countryside with my dog, Argo, baking, foraging for wild edible delights, doing yoga or travelling.
I’m currently on course to get my PADI open water scuba diving qualification and can’t wait to start exploring the underwater world.
